（圖：freeimages） 每年元旦為「世界和平日」（World Day of Peace），今年踏入第55屆，主題是「建立持久和平的工具是：教育、工作與世代間的對話」，教宗方濟各呼籲全球投放教育資源，打造一個嶄新的文化典範；天主教香港教區主教周守仁指，教育幫助年青人走出困境、縮窄社會鴻溝。 教宗：持久和平三個途徑 教宗方濟各在慶祝55屆世界和平日當天，三鐘經祈禱活動中指出，從和平君王裏面人們得到內心平安，努力締造和平需要採取具體行動，提出持久和平三個途徑 :「透過世代之間對話建立和平」，共同打破疫情引發人際之間的隔膜，透過對話年長者傳遞智慧與經驗、年青人發揮創造力和動力，兩者合而為一成為團結的力量。 教宗又提到「以教導和教育作為和平的動力 」，他觀察到近年全球投放在教育的資源大幅減少，盼望共同促進全球性的教育協定，從家庭、社區、學校、大學、機構、宗教政府，甚至整個人類家庭共同合作，打造一個嶄新的文化典範。 Like Us on Facebook 除此以外，「促進就業機會保障勞工」也是建設和平其中一種途徑，疫情之下數以百萬計的人失業，需要得到社會福利的保障，並且透過就業讓人能夠發揮才能、貢獻社會，並且得回人的尊嚴。 周守仁：教育幫助年青人走出困境 在香港，天主教香港教區主教周守仁主教於元旦日早上10時在聖母無原罪主教座堂主持「和平日彌撒」，也以今年的主題回應教宗提出三個持久和平的途徑。他鼓勵年青人與長者大家以同理心、 尊重對方睇法共同建立家庭關係。 在教育方面，年青人在學校學習教育和技能，獲取教育知識、生活技能。教育的重要是幫助年青人走出困境、多方面思考、正面價值觀、幫助縮窄社會的鴻溝。 教育也訓練年青人多創意，讓年青人懂得成功和失敗，從失敗中反思，學習更多智慧為服務社會。 在促進就業機會和保障勞動，周守仁指每一個人都需要勞動，勞動是重要的，藉著工作彰顯勞苦得來的成果、貢獻家庭造福人群 ，是生命基本的意義。 最後，周守仁表示每一個人是天主的子民、主內大家庭的共同體，他呼籲大家一齊集合能量、正面思想、尋找出路，願主幫助。 「世界和平日」為馬天主教為和平而建立的節日，教宗保祿六世於1967年提出，1968年1月1日正式舉辦；歷任教宗經常選擇在世界和平日發表重要的文告，主題涉及聖地和平、全球化、婦女權利、勞工權益、經濟發展等。 Read More
